Turn around time on the packages 1 and 2 typically take about two weeks after we have received all the required client materials (text, images etc).
Package 3 website build times differ depending on the complexity of the site. We will be able to give you a more accurate estimate after learning more about the requirements and functionality needed.

No! A website is a lot more then just a pleasing layout and images. It needs to accurately reflect the goals, aspirations and branding strategies of the company it represents. Using pre-bought templates typically forces the designer into an mindset where they end up cramming these critical concepts to fit into the designs layout, rather then having the design naturally flow from the companies core values.
Also from a technical point of view it has been our experience that these kind of templates tend to be of much lower quality. With significant code bloat and non-semantic HTML that can ultimately hurt search engine optimization. At Anazoa we hand build build each and every site. We want our clients to have a unique site that not only meets their business goals, but also offers an efficient modern code base that can grow as their online needs do.

We support Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8. Firefox 2 and 3 and the latest builds of Chrome, and Apple Safari.
A note about Internet Explorer 6. Ask any developer about IIE 6 and you will hear an audible grown of frustration. It is the browser that most developers wish had been retired years ago due to its lack on standards support. Websites that look great in the all the other browsers can misbehave badly in IE6. Even though this is an older browser and declining in use there is still a small portion of people that use it, particularly overseas, so we feel that it is important to still maintain support for it. Since the technology in IE6 is so old, it is sometimes extremely time consuming, if not impossible to get a pixel perfect version that matches all the more modern browsers.
Consensus among the development community is that the best approach to this problem is to use a technique of progressive enhancements. What this means is that modern browsers that support more advanced features will have all the bells and whistles at their disposal, while older version that can not support more advanced feature will experience graceful degradation. IE6 will still maintain all the same functionality as other newer browsers but any unsupported features will be turned off. In this way the website will still work and look beautifully in all browsers.

We know what we do best, web design and development. Web hosting is another animal altogether and not part of our core business. We do understand though that many small business do not have the time to contract with a separate hosting company, set up the DNS forwarding, set up all the email and many more of the maintenance tasks that take time and experience to set up correctly. For those that want a hassle free experience where everything is taken care of for them we offer free complimentary hosting for the first year on our reseller account. Since packages 1 and 2 are typically low bandwidth sites, we feel confident that hosting these site will not create an undue burden on our servers.
If in the unlikely event that a website takes up significant portions of our servers resources, as a courtesy to our other client's website performance we will help you chose and setup a hosting service with a company that specializes in web hosting. We do not see this being the case and only add this clause to cover our back ends in case of some extreme circumstance.

Almost all of our package 3 websites use a database and content management system. While still fairly lightweight, there can at times be more significantly more resource intensive then the typical static site. Since we are a design and development studio rather then a web hosting service we feel more dynamic sites will be better served by a dedicated hosting service.

Absolutely! In fact we feel this is the usually the best method to go as long as you are willing to learn how to use FTP for uploading your site(which is very easy and we will be glad to show you how). We will even help you get set up on your new server at no additional charge.

One of the most obvious advantages is that it's free. Unlike other systems there are no reoccurring licensing fees to pay. But more importantly there are sometimes hundreds, maybe even in some cases thousands of highly skilled developers working passionately on the software squashing bugs, securing the code and improving efficiency and stability. Another great benefit of open source is that there is no waiting around for a 3rd party vendor to eventually patch their software, should they even be inclined to. Talented developers can create patches or add additional functionality as need to the software at any time.
